U.S. ARMY Private First Class (PFC) Wellington Albert Herb Jr., aka “Buddy”, of Levittown, PA was called to Heaven on Tuesday, September 05, 2023, at the age of 72. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran and a Recipient of the Bronze Star with Valor for his heroic service.
Buddy was a brave and loyal soldier, as well as, a kind and loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his 3 children: Wellington “Will” Herb III (Holly); Heather Schoell (Matthew); Holly Crohe (James); 7 grandchildren: Jeremy, Tyler, Kyle, Shayne, Ryan, James Jr. “JJ”, Abigail “Abby”; and 2 great-grandchildren; Noah and Lilliana. He will also be missed by many friends and extended family.
He deeply cherished his family and friends, and thoroughly enjoyed spending time and creating memories with each of his grandchildren. They were his world and brought so much joy to his life.
A service will be held in his honor on Friday, September 29th promptly at 10:00am(Please note the time and arrive 15 min prior to the service) at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940.
