Seymour Henenberg Obituary

The world was his Oyster and his family his pearl.
Seymour " Sy " Henenberg 76 of Morrisville, PA passed away surrounded by the love of his family at St. Mary's Medical Center in Langhorne Pa on September 4, 2021.
Sy lived his life to the fullest, he passed from complications related to Covid.  He fought bravely until the very end.
Sy left behind an adoring family, his wife of 50 years, Carol Ann Henenberg ( Yedesko ) he left this earth two days short of their 51st wedding anniversary.
His daughter Jillian Henenberg Ehrlich ( D. Jeremy Ehrlich ) and his son Brett Henenberg ( Ashley Foster Henenberg ) will miss the man who believed in them and gave them the confidence that they could do anything they set out to do.
The true pearl in Sy's life were his three granddaughters, Molly Hope Ehrlich, Skylar Eden Ehrlich and Marlowe Foster Henenberg.
Sy was loved by everyone.  Trenton, NJ was always close to his heart.  He was born to the late Edith Henenberg ( Seavey ) and Seymour Henenberg.  Sy had never met his father who had received a Purple Heart for life lost from complications at Normandy on Dday.
He was a 1962 Graduate of Trenton Central Highschool and attended Thomas Edison University.   Sy was recently referred to as an " Elder " in the lighting industry.  He began his career at Circle F Industry in 1964 and has been a keystone in the decorative lighting community up until his final days as the CEO of Contract Lighting Sales.
Sy was an Eagle Scout, a proud accomplishment he was eager to share and thoroughly enjoyed.  His career in sales was also his hobby, he collected and sold Stamps and later Baseball Cards and he was both a Coach of YMS Soccer in Yardley, PA and the Commissioner of PAA Baseball in the late 80's / early 90's.
Sy loved the Phillies, a great cheesesteak and traveled the globe in search of the perfect oyster.

In lieu of flowers we are asking that you share a smile for Sy.  His mother, Edie supported Toys for Tots and we would like to continue that tradition.  You can choose to make a donation or send a toy directly https://www.toysfortots.org/
