Rochelle Solomon

Trenton--   Rochelle Solomon, 45, of Trenton died November 14, 2022.  A viewing service will be held Tuesday November 22, 2022 from 11;00am to 1:00pm followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Rochelle Y. Solomon was born April 2, 1977, to the late Lola Mae Solomon. She departed this life on November 14, 2022, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ.

Rochelle affectionately known as “Roch” to friends and “Grandma” to family, was born in Trenton, NJ. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was educated in the Trenton Public School System. Her first job was a cashier at McDonald’s.

For those who knew her, Rochelle knew that wherever she stepped into a room, she would not go unnoticed. Weather it was her greeting, her smile, her outgoing personality, and especially her sneakers. She was known for wearing her hair wraps and mohawks. If Rochelle was in the building, you would know she was in the house! She was always on the go. Rochelle was very independent and self-motivated. She was selfless and her largest quality was sharing and caring for her family and friends.

In addition to her mother, Rochelle was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Sylvia Solomon; special grandparents, Louise and Ronnie McAllister; and a brother, James Willis.

She leaves to mourn, reflect, and celebrate her life: her father, Willie J. Johnson (longtime girlfriend Margaret); five brothers, Ronelle Solomon, Donell Solomon, Andrew Willis, Dillon Willis, and Jeffrey Willis; two sisters, Natasha and Margaret Willis; her godmother, Michelle Freeman; her nieces and nephews: Ron’Nira Solomon, Ronnie Solomon, Ronnell Solomon, Mekhi Stafford, D’Ayire Carter, Nahzeir Brown, Amaia Willis, Tilden Willis, Noël Redding Willis, Isaiah Redding Willis, and Te’Ajeah Ray; a special friend, Aunt Jackie Austin; and host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends including her Miller Home and Wilbur Section family.
