Maurice Ernest Byrd, age 69, was born June 27, 1953, in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Stewart Byrd Sr. and Cora Lee King - Byrd. He departed his life into the arms of our Heavenly Father on June 15, 2022, in Trenton, New Jersey.
Maurice Ernest Byrd, affectionately known as “Reese” by all who knew and loved him. Maurice was educated in Trenton Public School System.
Maurice enjoyed watching cowboy movies, spending time with his family, and enjoyed playing pool. He was a jack of all trades. There was no obstacle he could not overcome.
Maurice was preceded in death by his parents Stewart Byrd Sr. and Cora Lee King - Byrd; one brother Stewart Byrd Jr. and one sister Phyllis Byrd.
Maurice leaves to mourn and cherish his precious memories his wife Linda Byrd; his four sons Maurice Treadwell, (wife) Vondalier Square Treadwell all of Willingboro, NJ; Ernest McKinney, (spouse) Michelle Boswell all of Green Level, NC; John McKinney, (spouse) Tonyel Leonard all of Hamilton, NJ and Jermaine McKinney of Trenton, NJ; five granddaughters Na’Zaya Treadwell; Davanese Cook; Jasiah McKinney; Breona Sykes; and Brooklyn McKinney; five grandsons Sherief Treadwell; Javon McKinney; Ernest McKinney Jr (EJ); Shakur McKinney; and Rahjaun McKinney; three special friends Milton Barber (Boo); Atorio Ramos (Maytag); and William Thomas (Billie), one niece and five nephews and a host of family and friends.
A viewing will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am at Riverside Memorial Chapels 1310 Prospect St. Ewing , NJ.
The repast will take place from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at 1490 South Olden Avenue Hamilton Township, New Jersey 08610
