Marlene Gordon Obituary

Morrisville, PA--  Marlene Gordon, 77, of Morrisville died December 18, 2023.  Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she graduated from New Brunswick High School.  Marlene worked at New Jersey Manufacturer’s Insurance (NJM), where she had a long career in Human Resources. She was a longtime member of Congregation Beth El of Bucks County.

Marlene always put family and friends first.  She was known for her love and care for others and genuine kindness, no matter if she just met you or if you were one of her life-long friends. The support of her friends was key during her illness, in particular her friend of over 50 years, Beverley Levenson.

Besides spending time with others, Marlene greatly enjoyed travel, highlighted by trips to Italy, Israel and Mexico.  She was a great friend to family pets, who always enjoyed the extra attention they received from Bubbe Marlene.  She always found time for relaxation with a challenging crossword puzzle or a good movie.

Wife of the late Gerald, whom she married in 1965, sister of the late Bernard and Irving, Marlene is survived by son Jeffrey (Christy), daughter Jennifer (Scott), sisters Eileen Newmier, Sandra Wymore and grandchildren Max and Abigail.

Marlene will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at the Burns Funeral Home 1514 Woodbourne Rd. Levittown, PA.  Interment will follow at King David Memorial Park Trevose, PA.
