Joseph A. Rivera

Joseph A Rivera (Joey), 39 was called home into God's loving embrace on January 25, 2022. Born and raised as a resident of Trenton, NJ. Joey is survived by his loving parents, Evangelista Rivera and Kathleen Herceg; his children, Brielle I Rivera and Sebatian A Rivera; his sisters, Raquel Rivera and Xiomara J Rivera and brothers, Evangelista Rivera Jr. and Damaso Rivrea; along with his nieces and nephews, Angel, Ajna, Miguel Jr., Angeliz, Evangelista, Xadrian, Anjareliz, Alejandra, Tyler, Evangelyn, Alanis, Evany, Bryan and Kenneth; his god-parents, Alex and Diane Herceg and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joey is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Domaso Rivera and Elena Burgos; Maternal grandparents, Sandor Herceg and Kathleen Walters; his sister, Maria E Rivera; and his eternal love Tara M Slamon. Joseph enjoyed fishing, his wide variety of music, concerns, good food and just all around life itself. Joey was a devoted Mets and Jets fan. He most of all enjoyed spending time and making memories with his friends and family. Viewing services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Riverside Memorial Chapels (1310 Prospect Street; Ewing, NJ 08638). Visiting hours will be held from 5 pm to 8 pm. On behalf of his parents, they would like to extend an invitation to celebrate the life of Joey at Decades formerly known as Sticky Wicket (2465 S.
