Dr. Richard Goldman Obituary

Dr. Richard H. Goldman, 86, of Yardley died on September 28th, 2021. Dr. Goldman was born in Hartford, CT, the son of the late Vivian and Edward Goldman. He graduated from Loomis High School in Hartford, from Harvard University and Tufts Medical School. Dr. Goldman served in Vietnam as a Captain in the US Army Medical Corps, after which he began his Stateside medical career at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York before settling in the Bucks County/Trenton area to practice radiation oncology at St. Francis Hospital, Capital Health Regional Medical Center (formerly Helene Fuld Hospital), and in private practice. He was the loving and devoted husband of Doris (Brodeur) Goldman, who predeceased him on May 10th, 2021. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Werner of Pittsburgh, PA, son Jeffrey Goldman and his wife Annie Goldbaum, of Minneapolis, MN, and two grandchildren, Louis and Rosalie Goldbaum. Dr. Goldman is fondly remembered for his kindness and sensitivity with patients, his magnanimous nature with friends and family, and his fervent love of his wife, son and grandchildren. The funeral will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetary at 11am on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Remembrances in the form of donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Nature Conservancy, or to another charity.
