Doris Goldman passed away on May 10, 2021, at the age of 90. Doris was born in Waterbury, Connecticut, the daughter of Leo and Adele Brodeur. She graduated from the University of St. Joseph, and earned a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Connecticut. Afterwards, she taught in England and Paris for 5 years through the United States Civil Service Commission, then returned to the States to teach 2nd and 3rd grade in the Washington DC school district, where she met her husband, Richard, with whom she settled in Yardley, Pennsylvania to raise a family. Doris enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, and especially travel, and leaves behind many happy memories of often adventuresome trips with her immediate family and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Dr. Richard Goldman, her son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey Goldman and Annie Goldbaum, and grandchildren Louis and Rosalie, and fondly remembered by a strong coterie of lifelong friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.
