Anna Smith

Anna L Smith was born 5/4/1925 in Greensboro, NC. She departed this life 5/16/2022 peacefully in her sleep at the age of 97. She was a lifelong resident of Trenton and was employed by the Trenton Board of Education as an aide at Mott School until her retirement in 1988. 

Anna  was preceded in death by her beloved husband Daniel Smith Sr and son Daniel Smith Jr as well as brothers Sebron, Joe,Alfred and  Sonny Long and sisters Mary Williams , Ethel McCoy , Aslee Cooper , Clara Davis  and Gloria King. Anna leaves behind her daughter Sealey Carol Murff,  son Andrew Smith and daughter in law Terri McGee, who took care of Anna lovingly in her final hours. She was blessed with multiple grandchildren, Amy Warren, Ricky Robinson, Daniel Smith, Nia Smith, Aniyah Smith and Mikayla Smith, and also 1 great granddaughter Amiya Smith. She also leaves behind a true multitude of nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends. Anna was truly a woman loved and respected by many. 

Calling hours will be held  Monday May 23,2022 from 9:00 am to 11:00am followed by funeral services at 11:00 am at the Calvery Christian Fellowship Ministries 611 Parkway Ave. Ewing, Nj. Interment services will be held at greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
